One of my favorite drinks from Starbucks so I did a little research in order to save some money and make this at home! Super easy and took about 5 minutes!
Ingredients
- 2 tsp vanilla or caramel syrup - I use torani classic caramel flavoring syrup
- 1 cup of cold milk (1/2 cup if you don't have an espresso machine)
- Ice cubes
- 2 oz of espresso (small cup of strong coffee if you don't have an espresso machine)
- 1 tsp of caramel sauce (cold is better)
Directions
- Add syrup to glass - it doesn't need to be so exact, I just do it until it just covers the bottom of my glass (you could always add more if you wanted)
- Pour milk (I'm a skim girl but you can use the milk of your choice)
- Add ice
- Add espresso or coffee
-- I don't have an espresso machine so I made the smallest cup on my keurig so it was as strong as possible
-- I used Dunkin' Donuts Vanilla coffee and honestly I wish I would have used a stronger coffee (just a suggestion!)
-- I also let my coffee sit for a few minutes so it wasn't piping hot going straight into the cup
- Drizzle with caramel (it's better to have the caramel cold so it doesn't melt into the hot coffee you just poured)
ENJOY!
